Stephen and Laura first met in a dorm room in the fall of 1999 while students at Asbury Theological Seminary (no, it’s not what it sounds like). After two years of intentionally spending time together and wearing out the sidewalks of Wilmore, Kentucky, they were married.
Stephen is a native of Nampa, Idaho and a graduate of Northwest Nazarene University.
Laura grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University. They both have MDivs from Asbury Theological Seminary and are ordained ministers in The Wesleyan Church.
Today they serve as pastors Hope Wesleyan Church, Galesburg, IL. They enjoy conversations over coffee and spending time with their three great kids, a neurotic dog, and a dysfunctional cat.
